Alhamdulillah, we express our gratitude to the presence of Allah SWT for the successful inauguration of the Program Infaq Kasih Ramadan yesterday, on April 14, 2023.

The opening ceremony of the Program Infaq Kasih Ramadan began with a welcoming speech by Associate Professor Noor Shila binti Nan, the Chief Executive of Kolej Perdana. She expressed immense appreciation and gratitude to YDH ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin Bin Abdul Hamid, the Chief of Police of Petaling Jaya, DSP Sivakumar A/L Thankaraja, Head of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Division of Petaling Jaya (KBPJKKD), ASP Azizul Bin Zahari, Head of Petaling Jaya Police Station, and SI Yaacob Bin Shariff, Assistant Head of Petaling Jaya Police Station, as well as other police officers who took time out of their busy and demanding duties. The theme of the event, “Police and the Community are Inseparable,” resonated with the occasion.

YDH ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin Bin Abdul Hamid, the Chief of Police of Petaling Jaya, delivered the inaugural address, expressing his hope that such collaboration would continue, inviting the college and students, especially those from the Diploma in Criminal Justice program, to visit the Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters to gain experience and learn about the real responsibilities of the police in relation to crime.

The ceremony proceeded with the symbolic inauguration, which involved the distribution of iftar meals to the students. It was a meaningful moment shared by the students, police officers, college management, and staff.

As we conclude this event, the students captured the precious moments together with the police officers, college management, and staff of Kolej Perdana.
